2024 Craft Show Wrapped Up
A huge thank you to everyone connected with this year’s 41st Anniversary Bloor West Village Arts and Crafts Show. The proceeds tallied at about $16, 500.00 with over 1000 people who paid admissions at the door. Everyone was given a Centennial shopping bag commemorating our 100 th anniversary! Eighty-five crafters filled 7 rooms of crafts and they were very pleased with the show, the attendance and the wonderful pies, baked goods and deli items that graced our Bake Table in Memorial Hall. Trijnie’s Trinkets and Treasures table netted over $500 in sales as well.
Special thanks to the 85th Scouting groups who supported the set-up, clean up and Friday evening connections with the crafters. Thanks to Ruth Caspell and all those who staffed our kitchen and café, sold entrance tickets at the door, to Jaccee Dallyn and her amazing volunteers who helped at the Bake Table and those who baked behind the scenes as well.
Thanks to Colin Dekker, our onsite custodian, for all his help on Saturday and the complete team of helpers who put the church back into ship-shape order for Sunday morning. Thanks to the staff for their assistance with social media, printing, answering phones and directing our guests around the building. Finally to Joan and Tom Howard and Brian Traquair, a big thank you for managing our expenses and revenue, all in support of the UCC’s Mission and Service Fund as well as the Current funds of RUC. It was a great show in our Centennial year!
